projects

i've been in a few projects over time, some you don't really know about, some you do!

Here they are:

Wii BBC iPlayer Concept

BBC iPlayer Wii

The Wii, (of course) had BBC iPlayer... BBC iPlayer was available on the Wii Shop Channel, but was then discontinued later on in 2015...

For some reason, they used Adobe Flash to create the whole channel. A file the Channel relies on (wiiiplayer.swf) is lost media, which is supposed to contain the whole interface.

Some people on the WiiStream Team have been working on restoring the lost file. I was the one responsible for the user interface. However, the project was halted before anything could happen.

Stingray Karaoke Download Store Revival

stingray karaoke download store

The Stingray Karaoke Download Store (originally The Karaoke Channel Download Store) was a store for downloading karaoke songs to any device. It also supported Karaoke Machines, allowing you to download them in CDG+MP3 formats.

In 2015, the store was rebranded as the Stingray Karaoke Download Store. Stingray also had a partnership with The Singing Machine Company, Inc. Which allowed Singing Machine users to download songs from that store easily.

However, in January of 2026, Stingray announced that the store would be closing down in mid-2026 (June 2026). The ability to purchase songs from the store was also revoked on March 31st of that year.

The decision was done to focus on their Stingray Karaoke Mobile App. The Singing Machine Company, Inc was also later acquired by Stingray in 2025 so the store could be closed either way.

I became deeply interested in the entirety of Singing Machine, and Stingray (for some reason), so I decided to revive the store. You can check out the Singing Machine Version of the store & the Stingray Version.
